Guatapé is a magical town located in the Antioquia department, it is famous for its
houses decorated with colorful bas-reliefs. In El Peñol you can find one of its main
tourist attractions: La Piedra del Peñol, a 220-meter-high rock with 740 steps that you
can climb and enjoy an incredible view.
It has excellent local gastronomy spots, cafes, shops, and restaurants. It is an ideal place
to walk around and observe the architecture of the town.
Its dam is artificial, and various water activities can be practiced there, such as boat
